Role Description:
As a Calibration Specialist, your primary responsibility involves calibrating installations and production equipment. Additionally, you will offer support to our biotechnology facility and its associated laboratories. Joining a recently established team that values diversity and various professional backgrounds, your contributions play a vital role in saving lives. Your daily efforts ensure the accurate production of medicines, instilling confidence in patients. Your role reports to the Calibration Supervisor, underscoring the importance of your work in maintaining precision and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various calibrations, including temperature, pressure, RH, and other relevant parameters.
- Ensure accurate and compliant GMP documentation for all calibration activities.
- Plan and execute recurring inspections and calibrations as part of routine activities.
- Actively contribute to the development and implementation of a robust calibration policy.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in the calibration field.
- Coach and guide other technicians in performing independent calibrations.
- Supervise and oversee the work conducted by external contractors.
- Utilize experience in trend analysis to proactively prevent occurrences of Out of Specification (OOS).
Requirements:
- Diploma in a technical field (MBO level 4) required.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or food company, with direct exposure to cGMP or highly regulated work environments (e.g., petrochemical industry).
- Possession of a VCA Vol certificate, or a willingness to obtain one soon.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
