- Translate Business demands into Technical solutions in the FCAPS domain
- Provide technical design document (HLD, LLD, test plan) and create related work packages for implementation
- Responsible for capacity planning and life cycle of the various systems and infrastructure, especially in the Fault Management/assurance domain

Stay updated with the equipment vendor’s roadmaps and changes to the existing features and functionalities- Follow latest OSS and cloud technologies trends
- Perform end-to-end testing of a solutions before implementation in live network
- Participate in various projects within Technology department
- All of this in a post-covid “hybrid way of working”
Waar kom je te werken?
The team supports other (sub) teams that have a stake in the Network Management domain. The FCAPS network management model is mostly followed by offering and maintaining applications that enable fault management (FM), performance management (PM) and configuration management (CM). Note though that Accounting and Security management are presently not in scope for the team.

Qualifications
- HBO or university level education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Strong problem analysis/solving skills
- Starter up to 3-5 years of work experience (change to medior 5-7 years of work experience??)
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Fluency in Dutch is a plus
- Basic awareness of project management processes
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural working environment with highly qualified and demanding colleagues
- Ability to work with complex systems
- Proactive attitude, challenger mentality, eager to learn and always wanting to improve
Expertise
- Experience with, and knowledge of Fault management systems (e.g. Netcool, Openview…), and the required integrations.
- Deep understanding of protocols and technologies, such as: SNMP, CORBA, MIB, Telemetry
- Familiar with DNS, HTTP/s, TCP/IP, UDP, IP Routing, VLAN
- Good experience with Red Hat Linux
- Basic experience with vvirtualization and cloud technologies (eg. VMWare, OpenStack, OpenShift, KVM, FusionSphere)
- Basic programming / scripting skills
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Ability to understand and make changes to system / application configuration in Linux
- The people skills required to work with fellow engineers, developers and sales team
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
- Possess a strong mindset with the ability to work independently and withing a team
- Has the ability to see the bigger picture
