Position summary
The Supply Chain Manager for ADM WILD Netherlands BV is part of the Supply Chain function in SCM EMEAI Flavors. This role reports to the Director of SCM EMEAI and is responsible to manage the Supply Chain functions in Amsterdam, according to global/EMEA Supply Chain strategy and in accordance with ADM policies and procedures. This role is a member of the local management team of ADM WILD Netherlands B.V.

Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Manage and develop the Supply Chain functions and their employees within Material Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Control and Outbound Logistics (documentation)
  • Manage local Inventory and warehousing, in terms of slow and zero-movers, turn-over rate, strategic stock and capacity.
  • Accountable for measuring accurate KPI’s and implement an improvement program behind these measurements
  • Responsible and accountable to meet the local Supply Chain budget
  • Optimize MRP planning in inbound and outbound planning;
  • Collaborate in SCM EMEA/global projects
  • Being an active member in Performance Excellence projects and Supply Chain Optimization Projects
  • Adapt SAP way of working to drive efficiency and align this with our enterprise business transformation
  • Seek to continuously improve outputs by monitoring developments in supply chain management and implement best practices;
  • Implement a culture of continuous improvement throughout the whole supply chain along all involved departments
  • Assure that Supply Chain processes are setup and controlled in alignment with ADM global standards.
  • Drive (internal) prioritization and customer fulfilment together with key stakeholders
  • Site representative for EMEAI supply chain organization and its stakeholders
The candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • A bachelor degree in supply chain, business or finance related field is required
  • A minimum of 5 years related work experience in a comparable management position in a FMCG environment
  • Broad experience with SAP (preferable modules SD, MM, LES and PP-PI)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Planning, S&OP and Warehousing processes with a focus on Operational Excellence
  • A proven ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside of the organization.
  • Independent decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to develop solutions in a logical and systematic way.
  • Excellent (English and Dutch) communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail and follow-up
  • Leadership qualities and able to work under pressure in a very dynamic environment where you are aware of seasonal influences
