We are looking for a process development technician A with process technology skills. As a process technician A you are part of global R&D. The global R&D department has approximately 60 people with different disciplines i.e. biotechnology, process technology, analytical chemistry and data science and are working together in all kind of different projects. This can be new processes for existing plants/products but new processes for totally new plants/products as well. Most of the projects are related to innovation platforms but supporting our ingredient solutions colleagues and support to operations is part of the job as well.

Your responsibilities
As process technician A you will be part of Global R&D with specific knowledge in process technology / process development. The location will be Gorinchem and you report to the people manager global R&D.
You are responsible for:
Set-up of the research and development plan, including analytical work, and carry this to completion in the agreed time.- Execution of experiments in the lab and pilot plant.
- Supporting other technicians in their activities.
- Provide input for improving current experimental approaches and make use of your already gained knowledge and experience.
- Building, providing and maintaining facilities, expertise and internal/external network.
- Support to other functional areas (biotech, analytical etc.).
- Assuring availability and transfer of the required knowledge to relevant groups in the defined competence area.
Your profile
In addition to your educational achievements, Bachelor degree in Chemical engineering or equivalent education, the successful candidate must also have:
Experience working in a laboratory.- DSP knowledge.
- Good English skills (written and word).
- Know your way in the world of lab and pilot equipment suppliers.
- Provide pragmatic experimental solutions for research questions.
Furthermore you meet the following competencies: Self-starter, Team player, proactive, flexible, supportive and analytical.
