As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for the development of real time software and system adjustments & diagnostics software of our Research and Development department in MRI.You will join a global and international team of software and hardware engineers developing the next generation of MR systems.
Your role:
- Gather, define, and write requirement- and test specifications, based upon higher level system requirements, stakeholder input and system design specifications.
- Seek ways to improve products and procedures with respect to testability, extendibility, and re-use.
- Design and implement software that is efficient, clean and easy to test using C++ and object orient design patterns.
- Work in a multidisciplinary environment collaborating with physicists, hardware, and service engineers.

You're the right fit if:
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (Embedded Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, Electronics).
- You have over 5 years of full lifecycle software development experience.
- You have extensive experience with C++ and objected oriented software development. Experience with modern C++ (C++11, C++14) is a plus.
- You have a knowledge of real time systems (VxWorks), SW control of HW devices & signal and image processing.
- You have outstanding communication skills, are highly motivated and a good team player.
