We also focus on circular solutions like recycling. The Energy Transition Analyst team at RaboResearch plays an essential role in realizing this ambition. You and your job
As Energy Transition Analyst, you will play an important role in expanding our expertise and knowledge in a wide range of energy transition topics in different geographies. This role is highly suitable for an ambitious starter with a healthy dose of passion for and curiosity of the energy transition. You will get the chance to develop your expertise in a broad spectrum of the energy transition by diving into a variety of sectors, themes and technologies.

You will support the Global Strategist Energy Transition and join the team in bringing credibility and reliability to strategic discussions with internal and external stakeholders, including the media. Your proactive contribution will be impactful across Rabobank and in the process of financing deals to speed up the energy transition of our clients. You will gradually transfer into your own areas of responsibilities.Inspirational practical examples
In a day as Energy Transition Analyst you will contribute to:
Thought-leading research, for example outlining the key trends and drivers in different e-mobility markets by analyzing datasets and market reports, or to dive into energy transition strategies of key players impacted by the energy transition to derive opportunities for Rabobank. A third example would be to make a qualitative assessment of the regulatory challenges facing plastic recycling today and in the future.
Preparing/presenting at workshops and other events aimed to educate and inspire stakeholders on our vision of energy transition trends, challenges, and solutions. This could for example concern the EU energy market reform.
Special projects, for example related to Rabobank’s energy transition strategy in a given sector or market.

You and your talent
You have a Master’s degree in a relevant field like environmental science, energy science, or electrical, chemical, or mechanical engineering. A combination with finance or economics is an advantage.
You are a starter, looking for the first step in your career as a graduate this summer or with a maximum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
You’re an ambitious self-starter, and feel at home in an innovative and complex environment with a large number of very different stakeholders across multiple countries.
You have strong quantitative analytical skills
You are an excellent storyteller; this should be demonstrated through examples of your writing skills and presentations/visualizations.
Fluency in English is essential and in Dutch strongly preferred; other language skills are an advantage.

This is what we offer you
A job in salary scale 7 or 8 with a starting salary ranging between € 2,923 and € 3,423 gross per month, dependent on your qualifications.
An extra budget of 10% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion; for example to buy extra holiday hours, add to your pension savings, or to be paid out.
A thirteenth month and 8% holiday allowance.
The above is a small selection of the employment benefits applicable to Energy Transition Analyst, based on a 36-hour working week.
