We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner/Product Manager with a deep understanding of the data and analytics domain. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key point of contact and subject matter expert for all data and analytics-related products and initiatives within the organization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to define and prioritize product requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for innovation in the data and analytics space.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Define and document product features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to continuously improve product functionality and user experience.
- Monitor product performance, track key metrics, and leverage insights to drive data-driven decision making.
- Act as a strong advocate for the product, promoting its value proposition to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Provide effective stakeholder management, collaborating closely with business partners to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment between product vision and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in the data and analytics domain.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering data-driven products or projects
- Strong understanding of data engineering and data platform concepts (e.g. DataOps, Data Mesh), with hands-on experience in designing and delivering data solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams at various levels of the organization.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
