Our Metabolics and Epilepsy acceleration unit focuses on global breakthrough innovations and evidence generation. As a Clinical Study Researcher Mets & Keto, you will provide scientific and clinical expertise in our research and innovation projects in Metabolics & Epilepsy. You will develop and coordinate the local clinical evidence generation to support Nutricia's value proposition and superiority with both Nutritional Experts and Specialists. With your strong scientific skills and experience in (clinical) study methodology and analysis, you will be responsible for study design, writing of the protocol, analysis, interpretation and reporting of the study (results) in accordance with the clinical study plan, applicable legislation and Standard Operating Procedures.
Next to that, you will:

- Translate business needs, existing clinical and literature data into a clinical study
- Provide scientific support during all phases of the clinical study
- Assess scientific feasibility of the study protocol and be involved in the investigator selection process
- Write the scientific part of Statistical Analysis Plan
- Interpret results and write the clinical study report
- Prepare manuscripts for technical journals and make presentations at scientific meetings.
- Safeguard the quality of your studies
- Liaise with doctors, scientists and health professionals.
- Build internal and external networks of Key Opinion Leaders/investigators/experts and other stakeholders
- Supervise third parties if activities are outsourced
About you
About you
You are passionate about making health differences and bringing clinical evidence to products and services. You have a University Degree and/or PhD in life sciences or a related scientific discipline and have profound experience in (international) clinical research in an academic setting or the (bio-) pharmaceutical industry. You have thorough scientific knowledge in study methodology and expertise concerning clinical research and literature data.
In addition, you bring:
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, legislation, SOPs and clinical study methodology.
- Scientific expertise in the field of Metabolics & Epilepsy (or related area) is an advantage and/or you are willing and able to become familiar in this field.
- Curiosity to connect science and methodologies into opportunities within one study and/or across different studies
- Excellent command of spoken and written English for writing protocols, study documents, papers, reports and delivering presentations
- Pragmatic attitude and be adaptable to the changing needs of the business.
- Like to work very precise and to solve complex challenges
- Ability to think logically and analytically
